About the Role:
CCSI is in search of a dedicated Outreach Caseworker to provide critical support to our community partners and clients. This role focuses on enhancing the lives of individuals affected by violence and crime, particularly through engagement with at-risk youth and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing meaningful connections with youth, young adults, and their families.
  • Conducting outreach efforts in neighborhoods, particularly in areas with heightened risk.
  • Participating in community events to promote awareness and support.
  • Collaborating with various organizations to enhance community outreach initiatives.
  • Engaging in daily meetings to discuss outreach strategies and progress.
  • Facilitating mediations within the community and partnering with local organizations.
  • Assisting in the development and execution of programs aimed at mentoring high-risk youth.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Training in areas such as trauma-informed care, restorative practices, and conflict resolution.

Additional Requirements:

  • Successful completion of all necessary background checks.
  • Availability to work some weekends for community events.
