KP Aviation is actively seeking a skilled professional to take on the role of Product Line Manager for Airframes. In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for leading a dedicated team of Product Line Representatives, managing all facets of asset assessment, acquisition, and refurbishment within the company's material procurement operations.

Your key responsibilities will include developing comprehensive financial models (Proforma) to evaluate purchase costs, forecast revenue, and project gross profit margins for various initiatives. You will also oversee inventory management, set target pricing, and generate detailed reports reflecting current market trends relevant to the airframe product line.

It is essential to demonstrate proactive efforts in improving gross margins and optimizing workflows. You will also be expected to undertake additional tasks as assigned by senior management. Your role will involve conducting extensive market research, providing technical assistance, and formulating pricing strategies to meet revenue and profitability objectives. Furthermore, you will collaborate with the sales team to promote the company's airframe materials and engage in the assessment, valuation, and procurement of aircraft, surplus packages, and essential materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough market analysis and provide technical support to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Assist the sales team in marketing all airframe materials owned by the organization.
  • Engage in the evaluation and procurement of aircraft and surplus materials.
  • Take charge of valuation and technical assessments for asset acquisitions.
  • Work closely with the Director of Product Lines and senior leadership.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the commercial aircraft parts aftermarket, including availability and demand.
  • Manage disassembly processes and coordinate logistics to optimize costs and turnaround times.
  • Ensure that materials are certified and available to support sales efforts.
  • Maintain a competitive pricing structure for managed materials.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Focus on targeted revenues, particularly for aged inventory.
  • Support the Director of Product Lines in opportunity valuation and forecasting.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms to align with company financial goals.
  • Develop a team of Strategic Buyers to inform investment strategies.
  • Report on sales performance and manage Product Line Representatives.
  • Achieve the annual gross margin objectives set by the organization.
  • Enhance vendor and customer relationships to expand trading opportunities.
  • Establish material plans to meet market demands.
  • Implement cost-reduction strategies across the organization.
  • Build a sustainable asset pipeline for long-term growth.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory turnover requirements.
  • Support sales with pricing and availability information for large package sales.
  • Evaluate engine and airframe packages according to established criteria.
  • Resolve asset trace issues within inventory.
  • Review vendor records prior to asset acquisition.
  • Oversee sales and yield management based on Proforma.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop annual financial plans.
  • Identify new customer opportunities and target projects.
  • Assist in marketing lease assets to potential clients.
  • Support operations in acquiring and supplying materials.
  • Adhere to company policies and maintain a professional image.
  • Identify opportunities to sell aging inventory.
  • Maintain current market intelligence on pricing and part values.
  • Track market trends and assist in depreciation calculations.
  • Communicate market trends effectively.
  • Support project management activities, including acquisitions.
  • Attend industry conferences to facilitate asset acquisition.
  • Travel with sales representatives to explore contract opportunities.
  • Assist in aircraft teardown efforts as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
