Aviation Product Line Supervisor

KP Aviation is seeking a dedicated professional to fill the role of Product Line Manager for Airframes. In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for leading a team of Product Line Representatives, focusing on the comprehensive evaluation, acquisition, and repair of aviation assets within the company's procurement operations. Your key tasks will include developing financial models to assess purchase prices, forecast revenues, and project gross profits for various initiatives.
Your expertise will be crucial in managing inventory turnover, setting target pricing, and delivering precise reports on market conditions relevant to the airframe product line. You will also oversee the procurement of essential materials to align with our financial goals.
Taking the initiative to enhance gross margins and optimize workflows is vital. You will also be expected to fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned by management. Your role will involve conducting extensive market analyses, providing technical support, and formulating pricing strategies to meet revenue and profitability objectives. Furthermore, you will assist the sales team in promoting the company's airframe materials and actively participate in the assessment, valuation, and procurement of aircraft and surplus materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis and provide technical support to achieve financial targets.
- Support the sales team in the marketing and sale of airframe materials.
- Engage in the valuation and procurement of aircraft and related assets.
- Manage the evaluation and technical assessment processes for asset acquisitions.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership and various departments.
- Develop a deep understanding of the commercial aircraft parts market, including availability and demand.
- Strategize to maximize revenue from asset acquisitions.
- Oversee disassembly processes and coordinate logistics for repairs.
- Ensure that materials are certified and available to support sales efforts.
- Maintain an up-to-date pricing structure for managed inventory.
- Build and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and manage targeted revenues, particularly for aged inventory.
- Assist in the valuation of opportunities and provide relevant forecasts.
- Negotiate pricing and terms to align with company financial goals.
- Develop a team of Strategic Buyers to inform investment strategies.
- Report on sales performance and manage Product Line Representatives.
- Achieve the annual gross margin targets set by the organization.
- Enhance vendor and customer relationships to increase trading opportunities.
- Establish material plans to meet market demands.
- Identify opportunities to reduce overall costs.
- Build a sustainable pipeline of assets for long-term growth.
- Meet inventory turnover requirements as outlined in financial models.
- Support sales with pricing and availability information for large transactions.
- Evaluate engine and airframe packages according to established criteria.
- Resolve inventory trace issues effectively.
- Review vendor records prior to asset acquisition.
- Collaborate with leadership to set annual financial plans.
- Identify potential customers and new projects to target.
- Assist in marketing lease assets to prospective clients.
- Support operations in acquiring and supplying materials.
- Adhere to company policies and maintain a professional image.
- Identify opportunities to sell aging inventory.
- Maintain current market intelligence on pricing and part values.
- Track market trends and assist in value calculations.
- Communicate market trends effectively.
- Support project management activities related to acquisitions.
- Attend industry conferences to enhance asset acquisition efforts.
- Travel with sales representatives to explore new opportunities.
- Assist in aircraft teardown activities as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
