Position Overview

Randstad USA is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join a dynamic team. The primary focus of this role will involve fostering client relationships, supervising all pre-construction phases, managing subcontractors and financial plans during the construction process, and preparing comprehensive documentation for project completion.

Ideal candidates will possess a minimum of 3 years of experience within a mechanical contracting or construction environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Mentor Assistant Project Managers.
  • Oversee pre-construction activities and evaluate project estimates.
  • Collaborate on value engineering and procurement of materials/subcontractors.
  • Draft subcontracts and purchase orders.
  • Assist in contract finalization and lead Construction Plan Meetings.
  • Develop and uphold the construction schedule, project plans, and specifications.
  • Review and organize project submissions to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Set up and manage project budgets, workforce, and documentation.
  • Foster effective collaboration with the project team and address potential challenges.
  • Supervise subcontractors and update project documentation as necessary.
  • Monitor financial plans and labor expenses; maintain equipment schedules and project timelines.
  • Conduct quality assurance inspections and participate in meetings.
  • Manage change orders, RFIs, and submissions.
  • Handle invoices, documentation, and proactively address project requirements.
  • Prepare closeout schedules and final documentation.
  • Resolve punch list items and coordinate with subcontractors.
  • Ensure readiness for final inspections, complete equipment start-up, and distribute operation and maintenance manuals.
  • Manage as-built documentation and warranty details.

Qualifications

  • Experience level: Manager
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (mandatory)
