Job Summary

Adecco is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at a leading F500 company in central Massachusetts. As a key member of the Maintenance staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the plant's maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise, train, and mentor hourly employees assigned to their respective shifts, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Maintenance Operations: Ensure corrective and preventative maintenance is performed on manufacturing equipment, including installations and modifications, to maintain optimal production levels.
  • Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of facilities and surrounding grounds, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure working areas are safe in accordance with OSHA and SOPs, and provide reports to management and executives on maintenance-related issues.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree in electro-technology, military technical training, or vocational/trade schooling.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment or high-speed distribution center, with 2+ years of experience supervising/leading technicians or mechanics.
  • Skills: Understanding of LEAN Six Sigma (5S) and GMP principles, with the ability to provide reports to management and executives.
