Job Title: AVP, Collateral Management

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AVP, Collateral Management to join our team at Jefferies. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the VP of Collateral in the daily oversight of Collateral Operations, including process approvals related to Collateral Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the VP of Collateral in the daily oversight of Collateral Operations, including process approvals related to Collateral Operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of Collateral Operations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to junior team members to ensure successful onboarding and development.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Collateral Management Operations, specifically in Variation Margin and Reg Initial Margin process governed under Dodd Frank, CFTC, SEC (SBS) and ISDA regulations and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of derivatives product knowledge, including but not limited to Foreign Exchange, Rates, Credit and Equities; covered swaps and securities-based swaps (Commodities swaps a plus).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Proficiency in SmartStream TLM Collateral, TriOptima triResolve, AcadiaSoft Plus (Agreement Manager, Margin Manager, IM Exposure Manager, and Marginsphere) and Broadridge is desired.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • OPS Series 99 or Series 7
