NESCO Inc. is in search of a Manufacturing Process Engineer to contribute to our client's operations. This role focuses on overseeing project management and executing essential engineering tasks to achieve production objectives. The primary aim of this position is to uphold product quality throughout various phases of the manufacturing process.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative machinery and fixtures for inspection tools.
  • Engage in the installation of large-scale equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve machine malfunctions, identifying and addressing root causes.
  • Enhance workplace ergonomics.
  • Implement safety upgrades on existing machinery.
  • Create mechanical designs utilizing AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Contribute to expansion and growth initiatives within the facility.
  • Adopt a hands-on approach in a manufacturing setting.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field in Material Science/Engineering.
  • Proven experience with SolidWorks (the company is transitioning from AutoCAD to SolidWorks; familiarity with other engineering software and the Microsoft Office suite is advantageous).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills.
  • Experience in the metals sector is beneficial.

Additional Information:

This is a direct hire opportunity with a comprehensive benefits package, including a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that covers Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services. The position offers a flexible first shift, Monday through Friday, with hours from 7 AM to 4 PM or 8 AM to 5 PM. The salary range for this role is between $70K and $85K.
