The primary goal of this position is to uphold product excellence throughout various phases of the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative machinery and fixtures for quality inspection tools.
  • Engage in the installation of large-scale equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve machine-related issues, identifying and addressing root causes.
  • Enhance workplace ergonomics.
  • Implement safety enhancements to current machinery.
  • Create mechanical designs utilizing AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Contribute to plant growth and expansion initiatives.
  • Adopt a hands-on approach within a manufacturing setting.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field in Material Science/Engineering.
  • Proven experience with SolidWorks (the company is transitioning from AutoCAD to SolidWorks; familiarity with other engineering software and the Microsoft Office suite is beneficial).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective collaboration and communication abilities.
  • Experience in the metals sector is advantageous.
Additional Information:
  • This is a direct hire position with a comprehensive benefits package.
  • Flexible first shift hours, Monday to Friday.
  • Salary range: $70,000 - $85,000.
