Core Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Payable:
    • Manage and process invoices, ensuring prompt payments to suppliers.
    • Reconcile statements from vendors and address any discrepancies.
    • Keep thorough and organized accounts payable records.
  • Payroll:
    • Administer payroll for all staff, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and legal standards.
    • Manage payroll deductions, employee benefits, and tax obligations.
    • Respond to payroll-related inquiries from staff members.
  • General Accounting Assistance:
    • Support month-end closing processes.
    • Prepare and sustain financial reporting.
    • Work collaboratively with various departments to ensure seamless financial operations.


Required Qualifications:
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in accounts payable and payroll, ideally within the financial services sector.
  • Education: Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms).
    • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
    • Ability to operate independently as well as collaboratively.
    • Effective communication skills.
