Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Event Services Coordinator to enhance our team at Omni PGA Frisco Resort.

This role is pivotal in ensuring that our extensive event facilities and services meet the highest standards for our guests and clients.

As an Event Services Coordinator, you will act as the primary point of contact for all event-related inquiries, ensuring seamless communication between clients and operational teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main liaison between clients and various departments to ensure all event requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with the Event Concierge team to deliver a cohesive and exceptional guest experience.
  • Possess a fundamental understanding of hotel operations to effectively fulfill guest needs.
  • Oversee daily event coordination and logistics to guarantee smooth execution.
  • During events, ensure all arrangements align with client specifications, fostering memorable experiences.
  • Proactively address any issues that arise, keeping clients informed on event status and necessary follow-ups.
  • Manage multiple requests and prioritize tasks efficiently; strong time management skills are essential.
  • Utilize event management software for documentation and necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the resort's meeting spaces and event dynamics.
  • Participate in regular meetings to discuss event orders and upcoming functions.
  • Recommend external services as needed to enhance event offerings.
  • Coordinate pre-event meetings to align expectations and logistics.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in catering, event planning, or hospitality services is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in a customer service role is required.
  • A college degree is advantageous.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in computer systems with a focus on event management software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with a passion for creating outstanding guest experiences.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting and moving items as needed.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
