Job Overview

The Next Generation Production Coordinator plays a pivotal role in crafting engaging and impactful experiences for the Preston Trail Student Ministry, catering to students in grades 6 through 12. This position is essential in orchestrating all Next Gen events, ensuring they resonate with our youth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborative Programming: Work closely with the Next Gen Programming Coordinator, Middle School Coordinator, Student Worship Leader, and Student Pastor to design and implement captivating experiences in both large and small group settings.
  • Volunteer Management: Recruit, organize, and mentor volunteer coaches and teams, including adults and students involved in technical production, hosting, and event execution.
  • Production Oversight:
    • Lead production coaches in managing large group environments, guiding their teams through weekend events.
    • Develop programming materials and visual aids for PTSM large group and ministry activities.
    • Oversee stage design and maintain technical equipment for PTSM events.
    • Collaborate with production staff to establish and uphold best practices in production and technology.
    • Schedule regular training sessions on equipment and processes for the production team.
    • Utilize Planning Center to provide essential resources and cues for team operations.
    • Supervise PTSM spaces during Sunday services, ensuring a smooth experience for attendees.
    • Actively participate in weekly production in designated areas.
  • Hosting Responsibilities:
    • Prepare scripts and gather materials for PTSM large group events.
  • Worship Coordination:
    • Ensure worship sets are effectively programmed for PTSM environments.
    • Develop and update ProPresenter content weekly for all Next Gen settings.
    • Share worship sets on social media platforms to engage students.
    • Drive innovative strategies to connect with the next generation.
    • Contribute to and participate in all Next Gen events, fostering a cohesive experience for students and families.

  • Strong collaborative skills with high emotional and relational maturity.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, capable of seeing the big picture while managing intricate details.
  • Proficient in digital media tools such as ProPresenter, Canva, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Understanding of the creative process and the dynamics of creative teams.
  • A college degree is preferred.
