Position Overview

This is a contract opportunity only. As a Virtual/In-Person Event Coordinator collaborating with our team, you will be responsible for crafting and implementing marketing strategies for various event formats, including virtual gatherings, trade exhibitions, corporate functions, sponsorships, and webinars. Your efforts will support Anritsu's leadership in the industry, drive lead generation, enhance revenue, and boost brand visibility through event initiatives. This role is hybrid and will report to the Senior Manager of Marketing Programs.

Key Responsibilities

Virtual Events

  • Serve as the primary contact and manager for the virtual trade show platform.
  • Coordinate technical support for live events and online interactions.
  • Establish deliverables and timelines for projects.
  • Gather and oversee all content, including multimedia and promotional materials.
  • Ensure an optimal user experience on the platform.
  • Collaborate with marketing colleagues to develop a comprehensive digital communication strategy.
  • Track and report metrics in conjunction with the Salesforce/Pardot team.
  • Manage the webinar platform, WebEx.

In-Person Events

  • Oversee all pre-event and on-site logistics with trade show vendors, including space selection and material handling.
  • Communicate with stakeholders regarding sponsorship and promotional opportunities.
  • Manage graphics and overall booth design, preparing final drafts for publication.
  • Coordinate hotel accommodations, demo equipment, promotional items, and staffing for events.
  • Select and oversee appropriate vendors from the bidding process to billing.
  • Ensure effective communication of customer interactions to the relevant sales channels.

Corporate Events

  • Plan and execute all logistics for corporate meetings, including conferences and leadership gatherings.
  • Manage comprehensive pre-event and on-site planning, including site selection and attendee registration.
  • Organize logistics for guest speakers and entertainment, including contracts and transportation.
  • Coordinate the production of meeting materials and promotional items.

General Responsibilities

  • Develop event objectives with key stakeholders and create detailed plans and budgets.
  • Accurately forecast annual event costs and manage the fiscal year budget.
  • Measure return on investment and conduct post-event analysis for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain an 18-month rolling event plan and oversee website presence and event calendars.
  • Support internal and external communication plans related to events.
  • Attend and manage significant events to ensure quality and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10-15% as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing multi-day virtual and in-person events.
  • Proficient in online event platforms and tools for digital and live-streamed events.
  • Experience in both digital and physical event environments, with strong knowledge of production team management.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • CMP or similar industry certification is advantageous.
