Position Summary: We are in search of a meticulous and organized Compensation and Benefits Coordinator to enhance our Human Resources team. This pivotal role is essential for the precise and timely execution of payroll processes and the proficient management of employee benefits. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in payroll operations, benefits management, and adherence to applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer bi-weekly payroll for all staff, ensuring precision and compliance with organizational policies and legal standards.
  • Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement savings, and additional voluntary offerings.
  • Maintain comprehensive and current employee records within the HR information system.
  • Address payroll-related inquiries from staff and resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local payroll and benefits regulations.
  • Generate and distribute payroll reports to management as required.
  • Assist in the annual open enrollment process and benefits communication initiatives.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to facilitate effective benefits administration.
  • Conduct audits of payroll, benefits, and other HR programs to ensure data accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Business Administration or a related discipline; a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing and benefits management.
  • Proficient in payroll software and HRIS platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll and benefits regulations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capacity to manage sensitive and confidential information with care.
