Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Shipment Preparation: Prepare and package items for shipment according to customer requirements and company standards.
  • Packing and Labeling: Ensure all items are securely packed to prevent damage during transit and label packages appropriately, including addresses, contents, and any required shipping documentation.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate shipping equipment such as packaging machines, pallet jacks, and forklifts as needed.
  • Quality Control: Always adhere to safety regulations and standard operating procedures to ensure a high level of quality in shipping operations.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in shipping, packing, or warehouse operations is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
