The Construction Project Financial Coordinator plays a crucial role in the financial management and administrative support of construction projects. This includes overseeing billing processes, managing financial reports, handling change orders, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with project management and subcontractors to ensure adherence to contracts, change orders, and insurance requirements.
  2. Review accounts payable for subcontractor invoices, confirming that all necessary lien waivers are obtained and that contracts and insurance stipulations are satisfied before processing payments.
  3. Monitor and report on job cost discrepancies by comparing actual expenses to budgeted figures.
  4. Coordinate with suppliers to guarantee prompt and accurate payment processing.
  5. Assist equipment rental companies in tracking and managing equipment usage to ensure timely availability.
  6. Prepare and evaluate Job Cost Statements, addressing any financial discrepancies that arise.
  7. Actively engage in identifying opportunities for process enhancements.
  8. Support the maintenance of internal control systems.
  9. Perform additional tasks as required.
