About the Role

Spartan Logistics, a leading third-party logistics (3PL) company, is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Toledo, OH. As a Marketing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting and executing the company's marketing initiatives, driving business growth, and enhancing our online presence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a Deep Understanding of Spartan Logistics' Operations: Familiarize yourself with our company's history, facilities, and capabilities to effectively communicate our story and offerings to internal teams and external prospects.
  • Design and Distribute Marketing Materials: Create and distribute marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, maps, brand kits, and advertisements to promote our services and products.
  • Manage Website Content: Ensure our website remains updated, fresh, and accurate, including pictures, videos, service listings, and backlinks.
  • Content Creation and Management: Write blog posts, case studies, and other relevant content for external marketing channels, and manage content for social media platforms.
  • Track Performance Metrics: Use HubSpot marketing tools to track content performance, website traffic, and social media/email activity, and present marketing scorecard performance metrics in weekly meetings.
  • Support Sales Team: Act as the first point of contact for incoming leads, assist the sales team by participating in introductory calls, and collaborate with the sales team to develop campaign content.
  • Database Management: Manage the customer and company database on HubSpot, creating targeted lists for various marketing campaigns.
  • SEO and Google Rankings: Manage SEO and Google rankings weekly through SEMrush SEO software to ensure Spartan Logistics ranks for key search terms.
  • Website Audits: Conduct regular website audits to identify and address any issues affecting search engine rankings.
  • Press Releases: Assist in creating press releases for major company announcements.
Requirements
  • Good Character and Integrity: Demonstrate good character and integrity in all aspects of your work.
  • Associate Degree or Equivalent Experience: Possess an associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Previous Marketing Experience: Have previous internship or 1-2 years' experience in a marketing role.
  • Willingness to Learn: Be willing to learn and adapt to new marketing strategies and technologies.
  • Graphic Design Skills: Possess experience in creative content development, including graphic design.
  • Logistics Knowledge: Have a background in logistics and 3PL operations, with a strong preference for candidates with relevant experience.
  • Attention to Detail: Be highly detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks.
  • Microsoft Office Skills: Possess proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with advanced working knowledge.
