Join a Leading Color Cosmetics Brand as a Product Marketing Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Product Marketing Manager to drive the success of our color cosmetics line. This role is based in Southern California and offers a hybrid work schedule.

As a prominent player in the cosmetics industry, our client is recognized for its commitment to healthy beauty innovations and rapid growth in the masstige segment. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of creativity and meticulous attention to detail, essential for launching products that align with our brand’s vision and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and develop new product ideas through collaboration with Marketing, R&D, Sourcing, and Manufacturing teams, as well as through market research and trend analysis.
  • Oversee the product launch briefing process, ensuring effective communication with both internal teams and external partners regarding specifications, benchmarks, and timelines.
  • Monitor the progress of product submissions to achieve desired performance metrics.
  • Coordinate with R&D, Sourcing, and Operations to guarantee timely approvals, testing, and resolution of any production challenges.
  • Manage budgets, forecast product volumes, and establish Cost of Goods targets.
  • Work closely with the Brand Marketing team to ensure a unified product presentation and packaging execution.
  • Ensure timely delivery of product samples for various marketing initiatives, including retailer meetings and PR events.
  • Develop pricing strategies for the North American market while ensuring global compliance with the International team.
  • Ensure that packaging copy accurately reflects the brand message and product benefits.
  • Conduct competitive analysis of new products and present findings.
  • Perform post-launch evaluations to refine product assortment strategies.
  • Deliver presentations at internal and external meetings.
  • Travel to production facilities and vendors for product development and approval processes.
  • Gather market feedback to enhance product offerings and formulations.
  • Mentor and develop talent within the product marketing team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in product marketing within the cosmetics industry, specifically in color cosmetics.
  • Candidate must currently reside in Southern California.
