Are you a results-driven professional looking to make a tangible impact in the metal recycling industry? We're seeking a dynamic Account Manager to join our dedicated team. In this role, you'll engage directly with catalytic converter suppliers in your territory, ensuring we source these critical components at competitive prices while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build Strong Partnerships: Forge and maintain robust relationships with both new and existing catalytic converter suppliers.
  • Savvy Purchasing: Actively seek out potential suppliers to procure catalytic converters at advantageous prices, engaging in physical site visits to assess their operations and establish rapport.
  • Bid Management: Prepare and submit bids for quotes, calculating necessary resources and gathering data during on-site visits to ensure our offerings are competitive and compelling.

What You'll Do:
  1. Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth and expand our supplier network.
  2. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine our purchasing strategies.
  3. Negotiate agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
  4. Maintain accurate records and reports on supplier interactions and market insights.

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in account management, business development, or sales, preferably in the metal recycling or automotive industry.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to establish mutually beneficial partnerships with suppliers.

Additional Information:

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $100,000 annually (Base Salary + Commission Pay), comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
