Short Description:

Compass Solutions is seeking a lead integration solutions architect to support the transition of its enterprise integration framework from traditional on-premise systems to a modern cloud-based environment.

Complete Description:

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the migration of services from on-premise applications to cloud solutions, ensuring comprehensive implementation across multiple projects.

Key Qualifications:

- Proven ability to select, adapt, and effectively utilize a range of programming techniques, including Web Services WSDL 1.1/WSDL 2.0, XML, REST, J2EE, .NET, API development, and Object-Oriented Programming.

- Strong understanding of overall architecture, collaborating with development teams to design and implement effective solutions.

- A minimum of 4 years of experience with integration platform tools is essential.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Demonstrate expertise and substantial hands-on experience in technologies pertinent to application integration.
  2. Lead the implementation of projects utilizing integration platforms such as Oracle SOA, Microsoft Azure, and other cloud solutions.
  3. Define processes and strategies for the incremental migration of services and scripts from the existing environment to the cloud.
  4. Evaluate applications, define domains, trace dependencies, and create viable solution architectures for cloud migration.
  5. Collaborate with technical team members (developers, administrators, quality analysts) to analyze and document the current architecture, functionality, and dependencies of various applications in an integration.
  6. Assess options and formulate solutions, evaluating overall feasibility, determining cost models, developing timelines, and aligning with functional requirements.
  7. Translate requirements into high-level technical architectures.
  8. Exhibit strong design and troubleshooting skills, with experience in multiple web service protocols, programming languages, security, development methodologies, and governance.
  9. Create, enhance, modify, and develop enterprise and custom connectors.
  10. Engage with enterprise platforms for CRM, HR, Procurement, and Finance to develop new integrations and modify existing ones.
  11. Manage and complete multiple high-priority projects with varying deadlines.
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience; or a current Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
