Position Overview:

The American National Red Cross is seeking a highly skilled and certified Salesforce Technical Architect to enhance our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic guidance in leveraging technology to enhance service delivery.
  • Lead the architectural design and technical implementation of Salesforce solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and scalability.
  • Develop and customize Salesforce applications utilizing Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and other Salesforce technologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to capture business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Conduct code evaluations, offer technical mentorship, and guide junior developers.
  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems and third-party applications using APIs and middleware.
  • Ensure data security, integrity, and governance within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical challenges, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about Salesforce updates, features, and best practices, proactively suggesting enhancements.
  • Oversee the complete project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and ongoing support.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Over 10 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development and architecture.
  • Strong proficiency in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and other Salesforce platforms.
  • Expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce integration methodologies.
  • Possession of Salesforce Application Architect or similar advanced certifications (e.g., System Architect, Technical Architect) is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and executing complex Salesforce projects.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Combination of education and experience that meets the requirements is acceptable.
Compensation:

The starting annual salary range for this position is $150K - $170K. Compensation may vary based on specific skills, years of experience, and comparisons to existing employees in similar roles.
