Position Overview

We are seeking a Lead Solutions Architect to join our innovative team at Aretum, a prominent player in the technology sector. In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with architecting and executing robust and scalable solutions tailored to our diverse clientele.

Your responsibilities will include collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders to gather essential requirements, define architectural frameworks, and design intricate systems. You will engage with cross-functional teams to guarantee the successful deployment and execution of solutions. Furthermore, you will offer technical mentorship and support to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, including the Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Technology Officer, to identify and manage multiple concurrent technical initiatives related to application development, digital transformation, web and mobile solutions, AI/ML, microservices, and cloud technologies such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
  • Articulate a clear vision for each initiative through brainstorming sessions, technical design documentation, and the creation of diagrams and presentations.
  • Oversee ongoing engineering projects to ensure alignment with industry best practices.
  • Assist in the implementation of cloud-based solutions across AWS, Google, and Azure platforms.
  • Support internal teams with architecture-related tasks, software design, best practices, and prototyping efforts.
  • Facilitate the CTO organization in achieving industry certifications.
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience in IT with a focus on application development.
  • 10+ years of experience in software application development.
  • 10+ years of experience with open-source application development frameworks.
  • 10+ years of experience in development using either Python or Java.
  • 5+ years of experience in writing and reviewing proposals for Federal Government projects.
  • 3+ years of experience with emerging technologies.
  • 5+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services.
  • 5+ years of experience in networking and server management.
  • 2+ years of experience in implementing AI, machine learning, or deep learning projects.
  • Hands-on experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Scaled Agile.
  • Experience in designing and developing microservices-based architectures.
  • Ability to manage multiple technical streams and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience mentoring junior team members.
  • Proficiency in implementing CI/CD solutions for automated deployments.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of open-source technologies and tools.
  • Experience in product marketing and conducting pre-sales discussions.
  • Ability to work independently and lead other staff members.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong documentation capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • ITIL V3 / V4 certification.
