Short Description:


Compass Solutions is seeking a lead integration solutions architect to facilitate the transition of its enterprise integration framework from an on-premise Oracle SOA suite to a cloud-based Azure solution.


Complete Description:


The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in migrating services (beyond simple lift and shift) from on-premises applications to cloud services, successfully implementing two or more projects from start to finish.

Key qualifications include the ability to select, adapt, and effectively utilize a range of programming methodologies such as Web Services WSDL 1.1/WSDL 2.0, XML, REST, J2EE, .NET, API development, and Object-Oriented Programming.

Additionally, the candidate must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of overall architecture and collaborate with development teams to design and implement the proposed solutions.

Applicants should have a minimum of four years of experience with integration platform tools.

Responsibilities:
1.

  • Possess expertise and substantial hands-on experience in technologies pertinent to application integration.
Lead the implementation of projects utilizing integration platforms such as Oracle SOA, Microsoft Azure, and other cloud solutions.

  • Define processes and strategies for incremental migrations of services and scripts from the current environment to the cloud solution.
  • Assess applications, delineate domains, trace and mitigate dependencies, and devise potential solution architectures for cloud migration.
  • Collaborate with technical team members (developers, administrators, quality analysts) to analyze and document the existing architecture, functionality, and dependencies of various applications in an integration.
  • Evaluate alternatives and formulate solutions, assess overall feasibility, establish current and future cost models, develop timelines, and align with functional requirements.
  • Translate requirements into high-level technical architectures.
  • Exhibit strong design and troubleshooting skills with an understanding and/or development experience in multiple web service protocols, programming languages, security, development methodologies, and governance.
  • Create, enhance, modify, and develop with enterprise and custom connectors.
  • Engage with enterprise platforms for CRM, HR, Procurement, and Finance to perform new integrations and modify existing ones.
  • Manage and successfully complete multiple, competing, high-priority projects with varying deadlines.

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience; or a current Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
