Business Development Manager Job Description

Sunstates Security is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in the Portland and Seattle-based region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating leads, closing new business, and driving revenue growth for our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the contract security industry
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including security directors, facility managers, and property managers
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies
  • Develop and present proposals to potential clients, highlighting the value proposition of Sunstates Security
  • Negotiate and finalize new contracts, working closely with other departments to ensure smooth account implementation

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in the contract security industry
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong technological capabilities, including proficiency in Salesforce and LinkedIn
