Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Personal Lines Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team at IBC Insurance Agency Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met, and building strong relationships with them.


Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate day-to-day service needs for clients, including policy changes, payments, and claims.
  • Collaborate with our Production team to develop strategies and marketing plans for new and renewal coverages.
  • Provide policy service, including research and resolution of coverage issues, policy problems, cancellations, reinstatements, and billing issues.
  • Maintain accurate client files and ensure all account information is up-to-date.
  • Communicate with clients and agency personnel to resolve issues or complaints.
  • Identify and request renewal exposures from clients, and identify gaps in coverage to maximize client protection.
  • Prepare final submissions for new and renewal marketing, and review policies for accuracy in rating and coverage.
  • Correspond with carrier underwriters, coordinate billing and premium financing, and follow up on outstanding claims.
  • Coordinate the issuance and quoting of premium finance agreements, and complete final reviews of policy documents for delivery to clients.
  • Stay informed on industry developments, new products, legislation, coverages, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance.

Requirements
  • Two years of experience in Personal Lines Insurance customer service.
  • Bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish.
  • Must have all licenses required by the State Department of Insurance to discuss and/or sell insurance, and be current on all Continuing Education (CE) credits needed to renew license.
