We are seeking an experienced and committed Insurance Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, assessing their insurance needs, and recommending appropriate policies. You will be working on the front line of our customer service department while recognizing and creating new client opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
- Review current client renewals.
- Prospect for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, and other lead databases provided.
- Process customer policy change requests.
- Complete Evidence of Insurance requests.
- Immediately greet all customers, entering the office, in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Take premium payments from customers.
- Follow up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems.
- Respond to all inquiries, alerts cancellation requests, and sales requests within a specified timeframe.
Requirements:
- Hold an Active Property and Casualty license.
- Possess an upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude.
- Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
- Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru, and follow-up.
- Exceptional Business Writing and Editing Skills.
- Problem-Solving Capabilities.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Must pass a background check.
