Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operational tasks, including preparing quotes for policy modifications, processing policy updates, and maintaining detailed records of customer interactions, certificate requests, claims submissions, and inquiries regarding policy coverage.
- Quote, manage, and renew existing accounts.
- Respond to customer inquiries through verbal communication and written correspondence.
- Ensure that all services rendered align with established company standards for quality and productivity.
- Support sales representatives with submissions and binding coverage, including proposals, marketing materials, and data entry into AMS/EPIC systems.
- Communicate with clients regarding the completion of underwriting requirements and premium financing, explaining policy provisions and responsibilities.
- Follow up on outstanding items from carriers or clients.
- Collect down payments necessary for binding additional coverage or modifying existing policies. Process customer receipts, prepare invoices, and maintain accurate accounting records, including the collection of overdue balances.
- Maintain monthly reports on policies and spreadsheets.
- Assist the Insurance Service Representative with the duties assigned to the Sales Representative.
- Keep accurate records as required by the agency and insurance companies, ensuring accessibility for all agency personnel as needed, in compliance with standard business practices and applicable regulations.
- Provide customer education as necessary.

Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
- A minimum of 1.5 to 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role. Equivalent combinations of education and training may be considered.
- Possession of a Texas General Lines P & C license is required, with the ability to obtain it within 60 days of employment.
- General Lines P & C license and/or other specific licenses mandated by the State Board of Insurance must be maintained in compliance with state regulations.
