Insurance Services Customer Support Specialist

Position Overview:
The Insurance Services Customer Support Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting Sales Representatives, Sales Assistants, and clients with both new and renewal insurance accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations, including preparing quotes for policy modifications, processing changes, and maintaining comprehensive records of customer interactions, certificate requests, claims submissions, and policy inquiries.
- Quote, manage, and renew accounts as necessary.
- Respond to customer inquiries through verbal communication and written correspondence.
- Ensure that services rendered align with established company standards for quality and productivity.
- Support sales representatives with the submission and binding of coverage, including proposal preparation, marketing efforts, and data entry in AMS/EPIC.
- Communicate with clients regarding underwriting requirements and premium financing, clarifying policy provisions and client responsibilities. Assess risks and provide recommendations for risk management.
- Follow up on outstanding items from carriers or clients.
- Facilitate the collection of down payments necessary for binding additional coverage or policy modifications. Process customer receipts, prepare invoices, and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Maintain monthly reports on policies and spreadsheets.
- Assist the Insurance Service Representative with all tasks assigned to the Sales Representative.
- Keep accurate records as mandated by the agency and insurance providers, ensuring accessibility in accordance with standard business practices and applicable regulations.
- Provide customer education as needed.

Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
- A minimum of 1.5 to 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role, with the possibility of substituting equivalent education and training.
- Possession of a Texas General Lines P & C license is required, with the ability to obtain it within 60 days of employment.
- General Lines P & C license and/or any other specific licenses mandated by the State Board of Insurance must be maintained in compliance with state regulations.
