Overview:
Sysco is a leading global foodservice distributor, and we're seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting our products and services, building relationships with new and existing accounts, and driving sales growth in your assigned territory.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, plus bonus opportunities

About the Role:
This is an outside sales position that requires traveling to customer accounts, conventions, and company meetings. You will work closely with customers to understand their business needs and develop a mix of products and services to meet those needs. You will also be responsible for evaluating market trends, recommending products to customers, and providing training and support to customer personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth and special objectives within assigned territory.
• Seek and qualify prospects following company account stratification goals.
• Research customer business needs and develops a mix of products and services to meet needs.
• Evaluate market trends and recommend products to customers, based on business needs and goals.
• Be informed of market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales; share information with customers as part of value-added services provided.

Requirements:
• High School degree or equivalent required; 2+ years of sales experience preferred, with a focus on outside foodservice sales or restaurant management/ chef experience.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook, and some knowledge of Salesforce a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a 'clean' driving record required.
