Marketing and Business Development Professional

Baird, Hampton & Brown is seeking a highly motivated and organized Marketing and Business Development Professional to join our team. As a key member of the Marketing team, you will assist in the creation and implementation of marketing strategies, working closely with engineers and marketing professionals to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the development of SOQs/proposals, presentation materials, and other marketing collateral
- Help develop text for marketing materials by interviewing project personnel and reviewing existing documentation
- Maintain the Cosential marketing database, ensuring information integrity and implementing strategies to utilize lessons learned
- Support business development staff through market research, market trends, forecasts, and account analyses
- Assist with planning and executing company events, including lunch and learns
- Coordinate the design and submission of ads for sponsorships, publications, and press releases
- Research and coordinate abstract and white paper submissions to industry-specific associations
- Assist all personnel with marketing and creative tasks
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
- At least three years of professional experience in marketing or business development, preferably in the A/E/C industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media management platforms
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Leaders who are highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple projects and people
- Knowledge and proficiency in Cosential
This position is primarily sedentary with long periods of sitting, but occasional walking and lifting up to 25lbs may occur. Extensive computer usage is required daily.
Position Type and ScheduleThis is a full-time, exempt position with an expectation to work 40 hours per week. BHB offers flexible scheduling options, including five 8-hour days or four 9-hour days with a half day on Friday morning.
TravelSome travel around the DFW metroplex can be expected monthly, with longer travel anticipated for conferences throughout Texas and surrounding states. Mileage for business purposes is paid for by the company.
