Business Development Manager

Our client, a leading provider of mechanical contracting services, is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to spearhead their efforts in capturing new business opportunities within their target vertical market.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar B2B sales role, with a demonstrably successful track record of exceeding quotas in a highly competitive market.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead Market Expansion: Identify and qualify high-value prospects within our target vertical market, focusing on new client acquisition.
- Drive Revenue Growth: Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to final contract negotiation, developing winning proposals and presentations that effectively showcase the value proposition of our offerings.
- Build Strategic Relationships: Cultivate and nurture strong, long-term relationships with both existing and prospective clients, serving as the primary point of contact.
- Technical Collaboration: Work effectively with engineers to ensure proposed solutions align perfectly with client requirements and exceed expectations.
Qualifications include:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar B2B sales role.
- Deep understanding of our target vertical market and its unique challenges.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve ambitious sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- A strong work ethic, independent initiative, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A collaborative spirit with the ability to build strong relationships and foster teamwork within internal teams.
Base Salary Range: 120k - 140k + bonuses, + commissions.
