Position Available: Facilities Maintenance Specialist

Employment Type: Part-time (8 hours per week)

Covenant House California is excited to introduce a new transitional housing initiative aimed at supporting youth facing homelessness. Our team at this location will be instrumental in developing a program tailored to meet the unique needs of young individuals in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute a variety of maintenance tasks to uphold the safety and operational efficiency of our facilities.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with management to resolve maintenance concerns.
  • Employ a range of tools and equipment to accomplish maintenance objectives.

Qualifications:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: At least 2 years of foundational experience in building maintenance.

Skills: Proficient maintenance abilities, task prioritization, effective communication skills, basic computer literacy, and possession of a valid driver's license.

Work Environment: This position involves physical exertion and exposure to various environmental conditions.

Equipment Proficiency: Ability to safely operate power tools and maintenance machinery.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None
