Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vacuum systems, including troubleshooting and testing
- Work with engineering team to design and implement new equipment and processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics and diagrams
- Provide technical support and training to colleagues as needed
- 4+ years of experience in vacuum systems maintenance and repair
- Strong understanding of ultra-high vacuum systems, vacuum pumps, and leak testing
- Ability to work from schematics, diagrams, and written descriptions to perform testing and troubleshooting
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of AC/DC circuits, including fundamentals of electricity and basic electronic components and circuits
- Basic PC skills, including MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Effective time management and prioritization skills
- Proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Ability to properly use common hand tools
- Experience with compressed gasses and gas delivery systems
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and vacuum systems
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Must be able to spend large portions of time walking or standing
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
- Must be able to perform tasks while stooping, crouching, kneeling, or crawling
