Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Wingstop. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and train shift leads to ensure they are using correct opening and closing procedures, adhering to company policies, and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee daily and weekly inventory, chicken counts, and waste management to ensure accurate ordering and minimize waste.
  • Customer Service: Assist the crew in providing responsive, friendly, and courteous service to guests, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Cash Handling and Reconciliation: Adhere to cash handling and reconciliation procedures, ensuring accurate deposits and credit card transactions.
  • Employee Development: Make employee assessments, assign one-on-one counseling reports, and hold crew accountable for cleaning, damages, and work output.
  • Store Maintenance: Inspect equipment daily, maintain temperature logs, and ensure the store is clean and well-maintained.

Requirements:

  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, communicate effectively with employees and guests, and provide clear instructions and feedback.
  • Operational Knowledge: Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and customer service.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and implement changes to improve store performance.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and adapt to changing store needs.
