About the Role:
The Assistant General Manager is a key member of our restaurant team, responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant. As a leader, you will be responsible for managing daily activities, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of quality and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Experience: Create a welcoming environment for guests, ensuring friendly, quick, and accurate service. Build a team that understands and commits to guest service standards.
- Brand Standards: Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and product quality. Ensure all menu products are prepared and served according to procedures.
- Team Development: Assist in recruiting, training, and developing team members. Provide coaching and feedback to improve skills and work habits.
- Communication: Listen and follow directions. Assign tasks to team members and ensure successful completion. Provide feedback on job expectations and standards.
- Financial Management: Assist in preparing staffing plans, monitoring attendance, and analyzing key operating reports. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure compliance with cash handling and security processes.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 1 year of supervisory experience in the restaurant industry, AA degree preferred
- Valid driver's license, access to an automobile during shifts, and proof of vehicle insurance
- Pass a background check
- Available to work a minimum schedule of 50-55 hours per week, including weekends and holidays
