Key Responsibilities

As an Enterprise Business Development Representative, your primary focus will be on identifying and nurturing new business opportunities through outbound initiatives. You will build a robust pipeline of sales prospects to meet sales objectives by utilizing the MEDDPICC sales qualification methodology. Your target profiles will span core IT, Digital Transformation, and Business Operations, including various business functions such as HR, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Support Operations.

Your role will involve executing sales opportunity generation programs through diverse channels, including email, calls, LinkedIn outreach, and video prospecting. Collaboration with our Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams will be essential for your success. You will bring enthusiasm, expertise, and creativity to our organization while achieving your targets.

  • Schedule qualified meetings for the Sales Team, contributing to pipeline growth and revenue generation.
  • Collaborate closely with the Demand Generation and Enterprise Sales Teams on integrated campaigns and go-to-market strategies.
  • Partner with the Enterprise Sales Team to refine strategies for targeted segments, including account mapping and personalized outreach.
  • Consult with existing customers across various business lines to understand their current use of Workato and their future aspirations through Enterprise Orchestration.
  • Meet established sales targets and deliver results within the agreed timeframe.
  • Continuously seek improvement through engagement and feedback.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum of 1 year of Sales Development experience, preferably in a high-growth SaaS environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving and surpassing sales goals.
  • Experience conducting discovery and qualification calls using sales methodologies such as Force Management, Sandler Selling, or MEDDPICC.
  • Familiarity with Account-based selling and collaboration with Account Executives on strategic outbound initiatives.
  • Proficient in business applications, particularly sales tools like Outreach, Salesforce, Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, Leadiq, Orum, and Demandbase.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to employ multi-thread techniques and video prospecting.
  • Growth-oriented mindset, eager to make a significant impact within the organization.
  • High energy and a positive attitude, with strong initiative and a disciplined approach to managing the sales cycle.
  • Strong customer focus and dedication to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, adaptable to a dynamic startup environment.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English, capable of clearly conveying information and analyzing customer needs.
