Position Overview:
This role will concentrate on solvent recovery systems, including condensation, activated carbon adsorption, and distillation processes. The selected candidate will support both pre-sale and post-sale engineering efforts related to this equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze customer inquiries and formulate technical solutions for proposals.
- Conduct process calculations and determine equipment sizing to align with customer specifications and strategic objectives.
- Evaluate customer specifications to ensure compliance and clearly identify any exceptions.
- Create specifications for procured components based on customer requirements and application needs.
- Define the scope of work and develop associated cost estimates.
- Collaborate with designers to optimize equipment layouts for projects.

- Review vendor and subcontractor proposals for compliance and completeness.
- Work alongside the Sales team to maintain effective communication with customers, both directly and indirectly.
- Develop Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) for proposals and projects.

- Provide ongoing process engineering support to projects post-order.
- Drive product enhancements and standardization of designs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve process-related challenges with operational equipment.



Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong aptitude for process engineering and demonstrate comfort in addressing issues related to industrial equipment.

The successful applicant will be capable of translating technical solutions into customer proposals and assisting the Operations team during project execution.

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with liquid systems, particularly organic liquids.
- Background in critically reviewing engineering, fabrication, or installation drawings.
- Demonstrated knowledge of process equipment design.
- Working knowledge of common process equipment such as:
- Fans
- Pumps
- Valves
- Heat Exchangers
- Instrumentation
- Tanks
- Experience with Air Pollution Control equipment.
- Familiarity with EPA testing methods and regulations.
- Proficiency in software applications including:
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Microsoft Visio
- Solidworks
- AutoCAD
- SAP

Additional Information:
This position is salaried and may require occasional overtime, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:
Main responsibilities are computer-based, but on-site duties may involve climbing stairs and ladders, as well as internal equipment inspections.
