Position Overview:
The Accounting Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting both local and corporate management through comprehensive financial accounting, cash management, and corporate reporting services. This position demands a high level of adaptability in a dynamic environment with stringent deadlines, and may involve unusual hours and travel commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury operations while managing a skilled team of accountants and analysts.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate completion of the monthly financial closing process in accordance with local and corporate reporting timelines.
  • Generate monthly financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Cash Flow Statements, for local management and corporate headquarters, adhering to IFRS standards.
  • Manage treasury and cash management functions in close collaboration with the Corporate Treasury Department.
  • Enhance the efficiency of the Accounts Payable function utilizing the SAP AFI Application.
  • Maintain effective relationships with local auditors to facilitate the year-end audit process, ensuring compliance with IFRS.
  • Provide strong leadership and guidance to all financial accounting personnel.
  • Deliver ad-hoc reporting as required by management.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the automotive sector.

Additional Requirements:

Physical Demands:

This is a full-time position with variable days and hours based on operational needs, including the possibility of working holidays and weekends, as well as overtime as necessary.
