Electrical Hardware Engineer

Jobot is in search of an Electrical Hardware Engineer to enhance our engineering team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the design and development of motor control panels and related systems for material handling applications. This role encompasses leading engineering initiatives from conceptualization through design, programming, testing, installation, and commissioning of automated control systems for material handling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and create electrical hardware components and systems aligned with project specifications.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to establish product specifications and system frameworks.
  • Perform feasibility assessments and testing on both new and modified designs.
  • Oversee and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, and testing operations to ensure adherence to specifications, codes, and client requirements.
  • Review and analyze technical drawings, electrical system specifications, and topographical maps to guarantee compliance with standards and client expectations.
  • Evaluate and interpret testing data to address design-related challenges.
  • Gather data and compose reports concerning ongoing and prospective engineering studies and projects.
  • Manage project production activities to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
  • Offer technical support and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a role as an Electrical Engineer or Hardware Engineer.
  • Proficient in electrical hardware design software and tools.
  • In-depth understanding of electrical manufacturing processes and systems integration.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Outstanding project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects concurrently.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to precision.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) certification is advantageous.
