  • Position Overview
    The Zoning Analyst I plays a crucial role within our Zoning department. This position involves collaborating with municipal employees nationwide to verify zoning classifications, jurisdictions, and compliance. The role demands exceptional multitasking abilities, strong organizational skills, and the capacity to maintain effective communication with municipal contacts. Critical thinking is essential for the preparation of Zoning Compliance Reports, along with adept client interaction skills.
  • Key Responsibilities
    • Conduct various types of zoning reports, including standard reports, renewals, and document retrievals.
    • Extract and analyze zoning codes from public databases.
    • Engage with municipal zoning departments via phone and email to confirm property statuses.
    • Examine municipal documents for accuracy and completeness regarding the property in question.
    • Produce five Zoning Compliance Reports weekly by assessing property conformity.
    • Maintain records and respond to client inquiries within our proprietary system.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Minimum Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Problem-solving abilities commensurate with responsibilities.
    • Self-driven with a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • 1-2 years of experience in commercial real estate or zoning analysis.
