Nurse Residency Program: Progressive Care Track

We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated nursing professionals to join our Nurse Residency Program in Progressive Care. As a Nurse Resident, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and knowledge in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
About the ProgramOur Nurse Residency Program is accredited with distinction as a Practice Transition Program by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation in Practice Transition Programs. The program is designed to support new nurses in their transition to practice, providing a structured and supportive environment to develop their skills and confidence.

RequirementsTo be eligible for the program, you must be a recent graduate of an accredited nursing program, have a valid RN license in the State of Delaware (or compact state), and have less than 12 months of nursing experience. We also require a commitment to work at Christiana Care for a minimum of 15 months after completion of the program.
How to ApplyTo apply, please submit your resume, cover letter, and transcripts through our online application system. We also require two clinical recommendations, which will be requested separately if you are selected for an interview. We conduct in-person interviews every Wednesday and Thursday, and we encourage you to complete the required steps to be seen by a hiring manager.
What to ExpectAfter submitting your application, you will receive communication from our Talent Acquisition Team regarding the next steps, including a video interview and clinical references. Once all scheduled interviews are completed, we will make offers to selected candidates. We have multiple start dates throughout the year, including summer and fall start dates.
