Job Overview

As an Account Manager, your primary responsibility will be to secure new client transactions while also cultivating a robust sales pipeline within mid to large-sized enterprises. Success in this role is measured by your ability to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets. Given our dynamic growth, adaptability and a quick learning curve are essential traits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a sustainable sales pipeline while overseeing the complete sales process.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape to effectively position InfluxData for success.
  • Foster strong relationships and build trust with both internal teams and prospective clients.
  • Generate leads through various channels, including cold outreach, email campaigns, and collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Manage and forecast your sales activities and pipeline to align with revenue objectives and corporate goals.
  • Consistently meet or surpass monthly sales targets and quarterly quotas.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in selling data solutions, SaaS, or PaaS.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with all organizational levels.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong skills in prospecting, qualifying, closing, and account management.
  • Excellent negotiation capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in selling open-source software.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL data technologies or other contemporary data platforms.
  • Background in selling enterprise management solutions, including Systems Management, Cloud Management, log analytics, APM, and Network Monitoring.
