As an Account Executive for Emerging Accounts, you will engage with corporate clients across multiple locations, promoting Yelp's extensive range of advertising products. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a territory of key accounts while identifying new prospects that align with Yelp's advertising solutions.
  • Lead the entire sales process from prospecting to closing.
  • Play a critical role in mapping client organizations and establishing relationships with multiple stakeholders, focusing on decision-makers.
  • Gain expertise in understanding clients' business goals and challenges, aligning them with Yelp's proven advertising solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients to create a cohesive local strategy utilizing Yelp's branding and conversion products, local search campaigns, and customer engagement tools.
  • Identify budgets within client organizations that are dedicated to driving in-store sales and digital conversions to support new Yelp campaigns.
  • Partner with Yelp's Account Management and Client Partner teams to ensure exceptional client experiences and program performance after the sale.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Midmarket, National, or Enterprise Sales.
  • Proficient in prospecting new business and expanding a diverse contact network within accounts.
  • Strong foundation in performance-based digital advertising products and cost-per-click advertising (preferred).
  • A proactive learner who embraces new challenges with a desire to significantly impact Yelp's revenue and client base.
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and comfortable closing deals exceeding $50,000.
  • Demonstrated ability to employ strategic selling techniques.
  • Experience in executive-level outreach and communication with Mid-Market and National Accounts.
  • Strong time management and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter with a builder mentality.
  • Solid understanding of online media and metrics.
  • Enjoy presenting to mid-large size groups via phone, video conference, and in-person.
  • Proficient in Google Suite, PowerPoint, Excel, and Salesforce.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • Reside within the Pacific or Mountain time zones of the United States.
