About the Role

FleishmanHillard is seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Executive to join our Corporate Reputation practice in Washington, DC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing integrated communications programs for global clients in enterprise technology and public affairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify opportunities to insert clients into the broader trends and news cycles of the day by maintaining a high level of relevant tech and political awareness.
  • Use this knowledge to help lead the client beyond what's been done before.
  • Capitalize on your expertise in and understanding of the technology and political media landscape and build, maintain and manage relationships with technology trade reporters.
  • Play a pivotal role in handling many of the day-to-day deliverables for the corporate reputation practice's account teams, including content creation and oversight as well as project and account management.
  • Drive story idea development and work closely with media to shape and control communications that are in line with overall account objectives.
  • Work with integrated teams to provide clients with seamless multi-channel solutions utilizing traditional PR, digital and social media platforms to deliver maximum performance and results.
  • Develop high-quality written materials, including press releases; pitch letters, background materials, planning documents, and executive communications.
  • Supervise the work of account team members, including interns, by setting priorities, delegating responsibilities and maintaining deadlines.
Requirements
  • Results-oriented and have a strong understanding of current trends in media and corporate reputation management.
  • Experience executing global and regional corporate reputation programs is a plus.
  • 1-3 years minimum of agency experience in developing and implementing integrated communications programs geared to a variety of audiences, ideally with large, national brands.
  • Knowledge of top-tier business and political media, and well-developed skills in building and maintaining traditional and digital media relationships.
  • Excellent writing abilities with experience in a variety of corporate and executive communications, from corporate news releases to executive talking points.
  • Broad business understanding, strong analytical abilities and critical, creative thinking.
  • Proven ability to prioritize, be assertive, self-starting and a willingness to take ownership is essential to success.
