Senior Account Executive

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Executive to join our team at Primer. As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for initiating and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders at top firms in the financial services sector.
Your goal will be to drive these relationships through the sales pipeline, closing deals that deliver significant value to our clients. You will also be responsible for shaping our broader sales strategy and go-to-market approach as we expand into new sectors.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of field sales experience in the SaaS space, with a proven track record of success in selling software platform subscriptions into net new complex accounts. They will also have experience in financial services, legal, insurance, or related industries.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $380,000 to $430,000, as well as comprehensive benefits and a flexible vacation policy. We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from diverse candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and expand on assigned territory, meet and exceed sales goals through prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities
- Identify high-value targets within the financial services industry and develop outreach strategies to initiate and grow relationships
- Deliver presentations and demonstrations highlighting the advantages, features, and functions of Primer's platform technologies
- Oversee the entire sales cycle while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including sales engineering, professional services, marketing, and legal
Requirements:
- 5+ years of field sales experience in the SaaS space
- Proven track record of success in selling software platform subscriptions into net new complex accounts
- Experience in financial services, legal, insurance, or related industries
- Excellent executive-level verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
