The **Key Account Product Support Manager** plays a crucial role in overseeing the service and parts operations for National and Key Accounts within the Bobcat Compact division. This includes the development and execution of aftermarket strategies, serving as the primary contact for troubleshooting, warranty support, parts assistance, and technician training. The role also involves assessing labor rates and ensuring the highest level of service for our top national accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Development of Key Accounts:
- Evaluate the capabilities of key accounts to ensure compliance with warranty procedures, including personnel training and necessary tools.
- Act as the corporate liaison for strategic accounts regarding parts pricing, availability, and order fulfillment.
- Formulate sales strategies aimed at expanding both existing and new accounts.
- Engage with key account customers alongside dealer sales or service teams to address product development and resolve issues.
- Maintain regular communication between sales, service, parts, and customers through site visits to key account offices.
Customer Engagement:
- Drive growth and enhance operational efficiencies to improve customer workflows.
Process Optimization:
- Collaborate with key account systems to document enhancements and improvements.
Warranty Management:
- Review and determine the validity of warranty claims and manage out-of-warranty situations.
- Analyze key account claims for parts and labor warranty eligibility.
- Conduct meetings with key account service representatives to negotiate equitable settlements.
- Monitor the implementation of field modifications and assess completion rates.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience: 5 to 7 years in a relevant role.
- Travel: Willingness to travel 10-24% of the time.
- Preferred: Green Belt Certification.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, decision-making, time management, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
