Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, agricultural economics, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in cash grain merchandising.
  • Possession of a Series 3 license or the ability to obtain one.
  • Comprehensive understanding of cash grain trading, futures & options, and risk management principles.
  • Over 10 years of experience in cash grain merchandising with P&L accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead internal strategy sessions to define the company's market outlook and formulate hedging strategies while closely monitoring key indicators.
  • Drive the development of new business opportunities and strategic alliances that capitalize on the company's strengths and market position.
  • Oversee all aspects of professional merchandising for a select group of strategic clients, including the creation of marketing strategies, execution of hedges, and management of logistics.
