The Key Account Product Support Manager will oversee the service and parts operations for national and key accounts within the Bobcat Compact division. This role includes the development and execution of aftermarket strategies, serving as the primary contact for troubleshooting, warranty policy issues, parts support, and technician training. The manager will proactively engage with national accounts and corporate contacts to build strong relationships and address any challenges that arise between our distribution network and key clients.



Key Responsibilities

Corporate and Regional Account Development:

  • Assess the capabilities of key accounts to ensure compliance with warranty procedures, including trained personnel and necessary tools.
  • Act as the primary contact for strategic accounts regarding parts pricing, availability, and order fulfillment.
  • Formulate sales strategies aimed at expanding both existing and new accounts.
  • Collaborate with dealer sales or service teams to visit key account customers for product feedback and issue resolution.
  • Facilitate regular communication among sales, service, parts, and customers through visits to regional and corporate offices.

Customer Engagement:

  • Drive growth and operational improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery to customers.

Process Optimization:

  • Engage with key account systems to document enhancements and streamline processes.

Warranty Management:

  • Evaluate and make decisions on warranty claims and out-of-warranty situations.
  • Conduct reviews of key account claims to assess the validity of parts and labor.
  • Collaborate with service representatives to negotiate equitable settlements for warranty claims.
  • Monitor the implementation of field modifications and their completion rates.



Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience: 5 to 7 years in a relevant role.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel 10-24% of the time.
  • Certification: Green Belt Certificate is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, decision-making, and time management abilities.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with MS Office Suite.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
