Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a Full-Time Senior Accountant to join our finance team.

The Senior Accountant will play a vital role in the preparation of financial statements and related reports, including tax returns and cost reports. This position serves as a financial liaison to departmental directors, assisting them with inquiries regarding their financial statements and budgets.

Primary Duties Include:
  • Compiling data for corporate tax filings, including 990, 990T, 1120, and ND-40
  • Assisting in the completion of financial statements for various departments, including the physician enterprise and hospital
  • Supporting the Controller in the preparation of cost report materials
  • Aiding in the development of budgets for the organization and its affiliates
  • Conducting balance sheet reconciliations and resolving outstanding transaction issues
  • Managing functions related to miscellaneous non-patient accounts receivable
  • Maintaining thorough documentation for all financial entries
  • Addressing departmental inquiries regarding financial reports and general ledger coding
  • Assisting in the submission of required information to divisional and national entities
  • Participating in various departmental projects as needed
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
