We are looking for a Key Account Product Support Manager who will oversee the service and parts operations for our National and Key Accounts. This role encompasses developing aftermarket strategies, executing plans, and serving as the primary contact for troubleshooting, warranty support, and parts sales. The successful candidate will engage proactively with national accounts and corporate contacts, building strong relationships and addressing any issues that arise between our distribution channels and key clients.



Key Responsibilities

Account Development:

  • Assess the capabilities of key accounts to ensure compliance with warranty procedures, including trained personnel and necessary tools.
  • Act as the corporate liaison for strategic accounts regarding parts pricing, availability, and order fulfillment.
  • Formulate sales strategies aimed at penetrating both existing and new accounts.
  • Conduct visits to key account customers alongside dealer sales or service teams to follow up on product enhancements and resolve issues.
  • Facilitate regular communication among sales, service, parts, and customers through scheduled visits to regional and corporate offices.

Customer Engagement:

  • Drive growth and operational improvements to enhance workflow efficiency for our customers.

Process Optimization:

  • Collaborate with key account systems to document and implement enhancements.

Warranty Management:

  • Evaluate and determine the validity of warranty claims outside the standard warranty period.
  • Review claims from key accounts to assess the warrantability of parts and labor.
  • Engage with key account service representatives to negotiate equitable settlements for out-of-warranty situations.
  • Monitor and analyze the implementation of field modifications by authorized key accounts.



Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience: 5 to 7 years in a relevant role.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel 10-24% of the time.
  • Preferred: Green Belt Certification.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation abilities, sound decision-making, self-motivation, time management, and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
