Job Summary

A Teller Operations Coordinator is the backbone of our banking centers, providing exceptional customer service, monitoring and training team members, and working with clients to identify sales opportunities. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a team environment and are passionate about building customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Customer Service Satisfaction of the Banking Center, ensuring issues are resolved in a manner consistent with goals.
  • Oversee the Technical Performance of the Financial Center, maintaining control over key risk areas, including teller performance, operational losses, and audit control procedures.
  • Handle cash drawers, ensuring proper control and following audit and security policies.
  • Manage the single control vault, ensuring proper control of vault cash and following audit and security policies.
  • Maintain workflow and schedule tellers.
  • Evaluate employee performance, provide counseling when needed, and determine training needs.
  • Cross-sell and make referrals to generate new business and additional services.
  • Conduct teller meetings to explain new policies and ensure continuous development of staff.
  • Assist in conducting meetings to promote sales, product knowledge, and customer service.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2-5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with a 10-key calculator and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Prior teller experience preferred.
